Join us for a virtual panel discussion and Q & A focused on Accounting and Finances for Artists.

Have questions?  Please submit your questions by Feb. 7th and highlight your general topics of interest you would like our panel to discuss by filling out this Google Form

Panel discussion will cover topics such as: "questions to ask your tax preparer", "questions for you accountant", retirement planning, sales tax, keeping track of your money, seasonal cash flow, planning for big purchases, etc.

Panelists:

Steve Szydel: A CPA, who has served as the President for the Managing Partners Association of Northwestern Mutual since 2019, and their Financial Director since 2005.  Steve began his career spending 15 years in public accounting, followed by 1 ½ years as the Chief Financial Officer for a $30 million multi-state business.  Steve holds a Bachelors of Business Administration as well as a Masters of Science in Taxation, both from UW-M.

Rebecca Ickes: After successfully building a six-figure photography business in Chicago, Rebecca is now taking the last 11 years worth of knowledge and helping other creative entrepreneurs build not only viable but (more importantly) life-giving businesses and lives. Andrew Linderman: Studio Potter who has been a working artist for 9 years and self-employed for the past 4 years and has a good working knowledge of mainstream Web-building systems and their accompanying POS systems.
