Additionally, the changes in our members’ personal and professional lives over the last several years have led to renewed sense of purpose and/or new directions in many of their individual art practices. Call for Artists - WI Craft Biennial 2023 |
MORNING GLORY ART FAIRAugust 12 & 13, 2023 on the Deer District Plaza, Milwaukee, WI Application Deadline March 7,2023 Application Fee: $35 (Membership in WI Craft not required to participate) For 48 years, the Morning Glory Art Fair has been a downtown Milwaukee destination for locals and visitors alike. The fair is organized and hosted now by Wisconsin Craft to continue its mission in providing access to quality art as a key part of the state’s rich cultural life. Expect to see the best from 130 artists chosen from among hundreds that apply. The Morning Glory Art Fair showcases work in 10 mediums: Fiber Art, Ceramics, Glass, Wood, Jewelry, Sculpture, Painting & Drawing, Photography & Digital Art, Mixed Media and Printmaking. The Fair is juried by three different artists professionals every year. |
MKE FINE CRAFT STUDIO TOURSeptember 30 & October 1, 2023 - Various Studios around Milwaukee County. Application Deadline April 1, 2023 No Application fee, must be a WI Craft Artist member to participate The MKE Studio Tour is a self-guided tour showcasing Wisconsin Craft members. Fourteen or more studio locations will feature the work of 40+ artists showing their unique handcrafted artwork. The Tour strives to connect Fine Craft Artists from Milwaukee and beyond to their surrounding neighborhoods. The purpose is to give the public a view into their studios and to promote Fine Craft fields and emerging and established artists. More Info and Application |
