Are you interested in getting more involved in Wisconsin Craft to build support and interest for craft and craft makers around the state? Would you like to develop and share your leadership skills? If yes, we invite you to consider joining our Wisconsin Craft Board of Directors. Board of Directors commit to 2-year terms and run from April through March of the following year.

Committee Descriptions

Development Committee

  • Oversees our organizations development and fundraising to ensure the WI Crafts efforts in carrying out our mission. 

  • Skills needed:  Development Ideas, Business Connections, Grant Writing

Membership Committee

  • Helps recruit new members and oversees member management. 

  • Skills needed: Social Media, Organization, Computer Software, Involved in your local art scenes, connected with diverse communities 

Education & Programming Committee

  • Plans and implements member and community focused programing throughout the year

  • Skills needed: Organization, Planning

Marketing Committee

  • Oversees promotions and advertising for WI Craft

  • Skills needed: Content Creation, Social Media Management, Videography, Event Photography, Graphic Design (Adobe Software), Google Suite, Web Design, Email and Marketing Automation(Mailchimp)

Exhibitions Committee

  • Organizes and runs our Biennial Exhibition and any other opportunities for exhibitions around the state.  

  • Skills needed: Connections to Art Gallery/Museum, Organization, Planning, Spreadsheets and Google Suite

Morning Glory Art Fair Committee

  • Plan, organize and run our annual Morning Glory Art Fair

MKE Studio Tour Committee

  • Plan, organize and run our annual MKE Studio Tour

As a charitable arts organization, your contributions enable us to fulfill our mission of bringing art and creativity to communities across Wisconsin. Due to the nature of our work, all donations, membership dues, and event, exhibition, or program fees are considered final and non-refundable. If you need to cancel and have not received any goods or services in exchange for your payment, your fees can be recognized as a contribution to our organization.
