Various Tour Stops around Milwaukee County
The MKE Studio Tour is a free, family-friendly, self-guided art experience that invites the public inside the working studios of artists throughout Milwaukee County. This unique event offers a behind-the-scenes look at how art is made, giving visitors the opportunity to meet artists, learn about their creative processes, and purchase original handcrafted work directly from the makers.
Featuring dozens of Wisconsin Craft artists across multiple studio locations, the tour highlights a wide range of fine craft and art mediums including ceramics, fiber, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, wood, and more. Many studios offer live demonstrations, special activities, and interactive experiences, making the tour engaging for all ages.
Organized by Wisconsin Craft, the MKE Studio Tour is designed to strengthen connections between artists and the community while supporting both emerging and established artists. Visitors are encouraged to plan their route using the digital map on the MKE Studio Tour website, pick up a printed brochure at any studio stop, and make a day—or a weekend—of exploring Milwaukee’s vibrant creative community.
