The Wisconsin Craft Education Committee is excited to partner with Morning Glory to offer multiple educational programs that invite the community to experience art firsthand. We believe it is essential to educate, engage, and connect people through creative practice, and these programs provide meaningful, hands-on opportunities to do just that. This collaboration is one of many ways we strive to make art more accessible while strengthening connections between artists and the community.
Instructor: Maria Gehrke
Registration Fee: $25 Members | $30 Non-Members
Maximum Registration: 15
Description: Participants are guided through a short embodied listening practice before picking up a brush. Through breath and body awareness, they are invited to sense what is present in them right now, like a feeling, a memory, a quality, an inner weather. They then let it take shape on paper through color and intuition. No artistic experience is needed. The process is accessible, unhurried, and rooted in presence. Participants leave with a small watercolor painting and a felt experience of creative self-expression.
Instructor: Yesica Coria

This activity encourages creativity, patience, and connection through art and tradition.
