This special event offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from Jesse about his artistic journey—from co-founding Flux Design, the innovative Milwaukee design-build firm specializing in sculptural interior elements for commercial and residential spaces, to his bold transition into independent fine art sculpture. Discover how his years of hands-on fabrication expertise at Flux have fueled a new chapter focused on personal expression, private commissions, community projects, and broader exposure through social media.
Jesse will share insights into balancing collaborative design work with the freedom of solo artistry, while creating meaningful sculptures that range from intimate pieces to large-scale public installations.
The highlight of the afternoon will be a live demonstration showcasing Jesse's distinctive process from concept to completion. Watch as he takes you step-by-step through crafting his signature sculpted garden fish and forging striking works in bronze, steel, and stainless steel. Welding helmets will be provided.
Whether you're an aspiring artist, a lover of metalwork, or simply intrigued by the fusion of craftsmanship and creativity, this informal meet and greet is your chance to connect with Jesse, ask questions, view works in progress, and explore commissioning opportunities.
