BIENNIAL MEMBER EXHIBIT


Makers & Masters Biennial Exhibition

January 24th - March 6th, 2020

Gallery 110 North, Plymouth, WI

Please join us on Friday, January 24th from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the opening of the 2020 WDCC Biennial Members Exhibition at the Plymouth Arts Center, where you can view the work of over fifty Makers and Masters of Fine Craft.  Included will be an Exhibition within the Exhibition of thirteen collaborative works by our members.  Vote for your favorite to receive the "People's Choice Award for Best Collaboration", then relax and enjoy refreshments and musical entertainment, followed by the Awards ceremony at 7:00 for First, Second and Third Place.

    We are very proud to announce that the WDCC 2020 Biennial Members Exhibition, “Makers and Masters...Tradition in Transition” will once again be held at the Plymouth Arts Center, from January 24 through March, 2020.  

    The prospectus is now available and entries will be accepted through November 15.  Entry is open to all members, be they Master Craft Artists with decades of experience, new Makers at the beginning of their creative evolution, or mature members devoting more time to their creative passions after leaving other careers.

    You are invited to attend the Opening Reception of the 2018 WDCC Biennial Members Exhibition, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., on Friday, March 16th at the Plymouth Arts Center, 520 E. Mill St., Plymouth, WI  53073

    Over 30 artists are represented in the show which runs from March 26th through May 4th. Click here for a complete list of the artists.

    The WDCC Annual Meeting will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 prior to the opening.  Anyone who would like to learn more about our organization is invited to attend and stay for the opening.

    Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council and the Plymouth Arts Center

    The WDCC Biennial Members Exhibition

    March 16 - May 4, 2018


    The Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council is dedicated to the support of Fine Craft and the Artists who create it.   Through shows, exhibitions, workshops and on-line, WDCC works to elevate standards and increase public awareness of design and craftsmanship.

    The Plymouth Art Center is located in Plymouth, WI,  due west of Sheboygan, WI (home of the renowned John Michael Kohler Art Center).  Well supported by the surrounding community, the PAC is a short drive west from I-43 and within an hour and a half drive of greater Milwaukee to the south and Green Bay to the north.

    All artists working in craft media are eligible to enter up to three pieces for the exhibition.  It is not necessary to be a member to apply, but membership will be required if work is accepted.  Membership is on a twelve-month basis from the date of payment.  For membership information go to: Join WDCC
