Valley Art Center, Chagrin Falls, Ohio announced this week that a custom
necklace created by Joan North has been juried into its national exhibit, “Identity: PEOPLE.” North’s necklace, Death in the Family, features oxidized silver with artisan silver bezels holding jasper, pearl and hematite gems, finished with an 18-inch oxidized silver link chain. 

In 2018, Valley Art Center begins a three-year series of exhibits exploring concepts of identity through three different themes: People, Places and Things. The exhibit runs from January 26 through March 7.
