MKE Studio Tour
Saturday, October 3, 10AM - 4 PM Sunday, October 4, 10AM - 4 PM
Various Tour Stops around Milwaukee County
Visit the Studio Tour Website
The MKE Studio Tour is one of Wisconsin Craft’s signature events, connecting artists, fine craft, and the community through a unique behind-the-scenes experience. Organized and hosted by Wisconsin Craft, this self-guided Milwaukee County studio tour invites visitors to step inside working artist studios, meet the people behind the artwork, learn about their processes, and purchase handcrafted work directly from participating artists.
Unlike a traditional art fair where artists gather at one venue, the MKE Studio Tour encourages you to explore Milwaukee County at your own pace. Build your own route, visit the studios that interest you, discover new neighborhoods, and experience the environments where creativity happens.
For Wisconsin Craft, the Tour is an important extension of our mission to connect artists with communities. It creates opportunities for established and emerging artists to share their work while giving the public a more personal understanding of contemporary and traditional fine craft.
Meet the artists of the 2026 MKE Studio Tour! This year’s artist listing brings together a diverse collection of creative practices, perspectives, and fine craft mediums.
Visitors can use the artist listing to discover new artists, learn more about their work, and start deciding which studios they want to include on their route. Throughout the weeks leading up to the Tour, we’ll also be highlighting participating artists and sharing more of their stories.

The host studios are at the heart of the MKE Studio Tour. These working creative spaces open their doors to the community, with many locations also welcoming guest Wisconsin Craft artists for the weekend.
Our Host Studio Location Listing makes it easy to begin planning your self-guided adventure. Choose a few favorite stops or make a day—or two—of exploring studios throughout Milwaukee County.

One of the best parts of stepping inside an artist’s studio is getting to see how the work is made. Throughout the weekend, select locations will feature demonstrations and additional activities that offer an even closer look at artists’ materials, tools, techniques, and creative processes.
Check our 2026 Demonstration & Activity Listing as you plan your route and look for opportunities to experience artists at work. These special additions help make every studio stop a little different—and make the MKE Studio Tour an experience that goes far beyond simply viewing finished artwork.

Whether you’re a longtime supporter of Wisconsin Craft or experiencing the MKE Studio Tour for the first time, we encourage you to explore, ask questions, meet the artists, and discover something new. We’ll see you in the studios!
